This divine life, characterized by its eternal and transcendent nature, stands alone as the unique life in the cosmos. The very essence of God's life distinguishes it as unparalleled and incomparable, holding a status beyond any other form of existence.

 In the original Greek language of the New Testament, a distinct term, "zoe," is employed whenever reference is made to this extraordinary life of God. The choice of the word "zoe" is deliberate, capturing the depth and richness of God's life. Unlike other words for life in the Greek language, "zoe" specifically conveys the highest and most profound sense of existence. It encompasses not merely biological or temporal life but reaches into the eternal and divine realm.

 God's life, as described by "zoe," is not bound by the limitations of time and space but transcends them. It is the very life that breathes eternity, carrying within it the inexhaustible essence of God's being. In comprehending the divine and eternal nature of this life, we begin to grasp its uniqueness. It is not a life that can be measured by earthly standards; rather, it stands as the quintessence of existence, untainted and undiminished by the passing of ages.

 As we explore the significance of "zoe," we come to understand that it encapsulates the essence of the divine, encompassing qualities such as love, wisdom, holiness, and immortality. This unique life is not subject to the vulnerabilities and fluctuations inherent in human or temporal existence.  In recognizing the usage of "zoe" in the New Testament, we encounter a deliberate choice to convey the unparalleled nature of God's life. While it’s not entirely incorrect to say that the law of divine life is simply God or life itself, it’s more accurate—based on the biblical revelation—to describe it as the automatic function of the divine life.
