FULLNESS in Christ

The concept of fullness as an attribute of God is illuminated in Colossians 1:19, which says , “For in Him, all the fullness was pleased to dwell.” In this context, fullness signifies not merely the richness of God's essence but the expression of these profound riches. The verses emphasize that all expressions of God's abundant being, evident in both creation and the church, find their dwelling place in Christ. Without fullness, expression is impossible; it is the abundance within that allows manifestation. Just as meager love remains inexpressible, the fullness of love enables its tangible expression. In Colossians 1:19, fullness conveys the idea of being the expressive embodiment of God's rich essence.   Crucially, the fullness, depicted as a person, is referred to by personal pronouns in the subsequent verses. This personified aspect is evident in the satisfaction of the fullness to dwell in Christ and reconcile all things through Him. The language of pleasure and reconc...

To LIVE IS Christ

Philip 1:21 In alignment with the apostle Paul's profound declaration, let us kindle the hope within us to continually magnify Christ—whether amidst the vibrancy of life or the shadowy realms of death. This transcendent calling beckons us to surpass the mere exhibition of seemeth virtues such as patience, humility, sanctification, goodness, and perfection. Instead, our mission is to unveil a living tableau where Christ's very essence radiates through our thoughts, words, and actions. It is a call to transcend self-display and allow the world to witness the living, breathing reality of Christ within us. "To live is Christ" becomes not just a proclamation but a pulsating rhythm that animates every fiber of our existence.   In our pursuit of living out Christ, we are beckoned to traverse beyond the superficial showcasing of virtues. It is not about merely letting others see our qualities but unveiling the transformative power of Christ being lived out in the intricacies ...

A CALL TO THE SPIRITUAL ORGANISM

John 4:24 echoes a profound truth, proclaiming that "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth." It resonates with the revelation that, as beings crafted in the divine image, we possess a spirit—a sacred conduit through which we connect with the our Father . Amidst the myriad of physical and inward organs bestowed upon us by our Creator, the spirit emerges as the vital instrument for worship.   God, in His infinite wisdom, fashioned humanity with a purpose—to worship, to engage with Him, to receive His divine essence, to retain it, and yes, even to digest it. While the notion of digesting God may raise eyebrows, the analogy is rooted in the profound truth that the Lord Jesus Himself declared: "I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst" (John 6:35). Jesus, the embodiment of divine nourishment, beckons us to partake in Him, to consume the spiritual sustenance that only He ...

SETTING OUR MIND ON THE SPIRIT

In the sacred journey of life, we are urged by the timeless wisdom of Romans 8:6 to fixate our mind on the spirit rather than the flesh. Such a choice, as delineated in the scripture, becomes pivotal—opting for the flesh leads to death, but aligning with the spirit begets life and peace. Our minds, the very essence of our being, serve as the canvas upon which our destinies are painted. Choosing to set our minds on the spirit is a conscious agreement with the divine, an intentional rejection of the allure of the flesh. In this agreement lies the promise of life and peace, a state of being synonymous with the nature of God Himself.   Life, in its truest form, mirrors the essence and content of God. To concur with the mingled spirit is to embark on a profound journey, allowing the divine to permeate every aspect of our being. The more we yield to this spiritual union, the deeper our connection grows, unraveling the transformative power within. Touching the essence of God throug...

ESSENCE OF MAN CREATED BY GOD

The concept of God's dispensing, as elucidated in the Old Testament, unveils a profound understanding of the purpose behind the creation of man. The biblical narrative in Genesis 1:27  articulates that God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him.” . An analogy is drawn, comparing this creation to a glove fashioned to contain a hand. Much like a glove is created in the image of a hand to envelop it, man is created in the image of God to contain God Himself. This intention is reiterated in Romans 9:23 , which speaks of vessels prepared for the manifestation of God's glory.   The term "image" in Genesis 1:27  implies God's desire to dwell within the man He created. This intention is not a simplistic act, akin to placing items in a box, but rather a dynamic process involving the mingling of God with man, as illuminated in Genesis 2.  In this chapter, God places man before the Tree of Life, indicating His desire for man to partake of its fr...
