DISOBEDIENCE: A PROPOSE TO SEPARATION
DISOBEDIENCE: A PROPOSE TO SEPARATION
Genesis 3:24 says, the Lord “drove out the man: and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.”
Thus, man was estranged from the life of God, symbolized by the cherubim representing God's glory, the flame signifying His holiness, and the sword representing His righteousness. These elements served as barriers preventing sinful man from accessing God's eternal life.
The redemptive work of the Lord Jesus on the cross offers a solution. He fulfilled the requirements of God's glory, holiness, and righteousness, paving the way for reconciliation and the restoration of the divine connection..Glory to God!!!
Disobedience is seen as a pivotal factor in the perpetuation of spiritual estrangement. The consequences of disobedience, akin to a metaphysical ripple effect, manifest as a profound separation from the divine, resulting in spiritual desolation, moral discord, and existential disquietude.
Moreover, the consequences of disobedience are not solely confined to the metaphysical realm; they often reverberate through the fabric of human existence, affecting interpersonal relationships, societal structures, and the overall well-being of the individual.
